The following conditions must be met to use the quantize function:

[When using a Pioneer DJ player]

-Use this unit in combination with a CDJ-2000nexus/CDJ-2000/CDJ-900 that supports the PRO DJ LINK function. In order to use the PRO DJ LINK function, the CDJ’s firmware must be the latest version. The latest firmware version can be acquired from the AlphaTheta support page.

-Connect this unit and the player directly by LAN cable or via a LAN hub.

-Make sure the player's player number setting matches the channel to which the audio cables are connected on this unit. For instructions on making the player number setting, see your CDJ's operating instructions.

-Analyze the tracks to be played on the CDJ ahead of time with rekordbox.

[When using Serato DJ]

-Analyze the tracks to be played with Serato DJ in advance with Serato DJ.

　Launch Serato DJ before connecting the computer to DJM-900SRT using a USB cable. Tick both [Set Beat Grid] and [Set Auto BPM] on Serato DJ. Select other than Sync Off in the SYNC PREFERENCES of the DJ Preferences tab in the SETUP screen and tick [Snap to Beatgrid].

After finishing all the above, connect the computer and DJM-900SRT using a USB cable.

[When using Serato DJ]

-Analyze the tracks to be played with Serato DJ ahead of time with Serato DJ.

When the QUANTIZE button is turned on with the above conditions met, effects are applied according to the track's grid information.
