To keep the tempo from changing suddenly directly after the sync function is turned off, the unit is designed so that the tempo of audio output does not change when the tempo slider is operated until the tempo at the position of the tempo slider matches the tempo of audio output.
The BPM value corresponding to the position of the tempo slider is displayed grayed out on the playing speed display on the LCD. Operate the tempo slider so that this matches the BPM display for the currently playing track. Once this is done, the tempo slider is enabled and the playing speed display returns to normal.
